laptop = cool

im on a wireless connection right now, can whoever is broadcasting the signal get mad at me/see what I'm writing?

anyway.

It came with two different kinds of virus protection, and whenever one of them tries to log on to the web, the other one will try and stop it, it's hilarious.

also, it is quite funny that when i clicked "better performance" in one of the control panel things, it made everything look like good ol' windows 98. some programer who knew that XP was crap probly had a laugh at that.

nerd.

haha, remember last year when julie brought her laptop over to your house and used it in the living room?

Julie: "Gordon, do you guys have wireless internet?"
You: "Uh...not that I know of"
Julie: "Well, one of your neighbors does, that's convenient"

they can see you if they know what they're doing, but chances are they don't because if the person who's wireless you are using was smart to begin with the would have set it up so that you needed a code to long on and use the connection, seeing as there was no such code the chances of them catching you/ getting mad are slim to none.

It's like when two computers are networked together directly. They can get into each others stuff, but only if both users want to. Or if one of them is a a m4d haxxor.

So, someone would commit a computer based crime bescause you teh stoled his megabitsorz.

If that went to court, the judge would be like: "hacker... self defense... stoeld teh intarweb... GAH! *head splode*"
